This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how you cancel a Seekadu subscription, when you are entitled to a refund, what happens to your data after cancellation, and how Enterprise contracts are treated separately. It supplements the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Free Trial
All paid plans start with a 14-day full-feature free trial.
- A credit card is required to start the trial.
- No charge is made until the trial period ends.
- You can cancel anytime during the trial — no charge, no questions.
To cancel during the trial: Business Portal → Settings → Subscription → Cancel trial, or email team@seekadu.com before the trial ends.
2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Starter and Growth)
If you are not satisfied with Starter or Growth within 30 days of your first paid charge, you can request a full refund of that first month.
- No questions asked within the 30-day window.
- Applies to the first paid month only.
- Refunded to the original payment method (Stripe).
- Funds typically reach your account within 5–10 business days.
To request a refund: email team@seekadu.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and your account email, within 30 days of the charge.
After the 30-day window, standard cancellation applies (Section 3); partial-month refunds are not provided.
3. Cancelling a Paid Subscription
You can cancel any paid Starter or Growth subscription at any time.
- Self-service: Business Portal → Settings → Subscription → Cancel
- Email: team@seekadu.com with the subject "Cancellation Request"
After you cancel:
- Your AI Agent stays active until the end of the current billing period.
- You are not charged again at the next renewal.
- No partial refunds for unused time within the current period (outside the 30-day window in Section 2).
- You can re-subscribe at any time.
4. After Cancellation — Your Data
When your subscription ends:
- Your account remains accessible in read-only mode for 30 days.
- During those 30 days you can export your data — conversation history, leads, CRM contacts, knowledge base — from the Business Portal in a commonly used machine-readable format.
- After 30 days, your data is deleted in accordance with the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
- You can reactivate within the 30-day window by re-subscribing; your data is preserved.
You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing team@seekadu.com with the subject "Deletion Request".
5. Enterprise Contracts (Custom Plans)
Enterprise customers (custom-priced) are governed by a separate Seekadu Service Agreement signed at the start of the engagement. Section 2 (30-day money-back guarantee) and Section 3 (self-service cancellation) do not apply to Enterprise plans.
Under the Service Agreement:
- Initial term: 12 months, automatically renewing for successive 12-month periods.
- Non-renewal: at least 30 days' prior written notice before the end of the then-current term.
- Termination for convenience: either party on 30 days' prior written notice.
- Termination for cause: immediate, after a 15-day cure period following material breach.
- Data export: 30-day window after termination; commonly used machine-readable format.
- Outstanding fees: all fees accrued up to the termination date remain payable.
Refer to your signed Service Agreement for the complete terms.
6. Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed via the original payment method (Stripe).
- Currency: same as the original charge (typically EUR; some Enterprise invoices may be USD-denominated under the Service Agreement).
- Processing time: 5–10 business days after approval.
- VAT is included in the refund where it was applied to the original charge.
7. Disputed Charges
If you believe you were charged in error or want to dispute a refund decision:
- Email team@seekadu.com within 30 days of the charge or refund decision.
- Include the invoice number, your account email, and the reason for the dispute.
- We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and resolve disputed amounts within 30 days.
Your mandatory consumer-protection rights under applicable law are unaffected by this policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or in-app notification. Continued use of the Services after a material change constitutes acceptance.
